Just received my suit today, superb quality, cut, fitting, style, material, just all round class (even I was a bit surprised at first that the trousers came with an un-hemmed finish, which I can see as a benefit now), I had emailed for sizing advice prior to the purchase and received a very prompt, polite and educated response from Jonathon, these chaps know their onions and couldnt be more helpful. I have bought Sta Prest from JTG before aswell, purchase with confidence, you wont be disappointed. Super fast delivery too. Sermon Over, Amen :-)

This jacket compares favorably to higher priced harringtons that I own. Conversely, the quality of the garment justifies the price when measured against one of lower cost.

On sunday the 29th of april my boyfriend and i made a planned trip to brighton to your shop after emailing you about the m65 fishtail parka,when we arrived i was like a kid in a sweetie shop,the reception we got was so welcoming,the selection of goods was fantastic,the parka cost me £140,and in my opinion it truly was the best £140 i have ever spent,not satisfied with just the parka,my boyfriend has always spoken about burgandy sta press trousers,so for £45 we purchased a pair of them to,if you are ever thinking of visiting jump the gun,and are not sure about sizes etc just ask the guys in there,they were very knowledgeable and so helpful ,we walked out of the shop,me with my parka on and the trousers in the bag,im NEVER likely to be cold again ,so thankyou jump the gun ,we WILL be back x

Put it on, fits great. Inside lining is amazing for winter, summer you can take it out and sit on the scooter all the same! Y'know, gets cold sometimes. Absolutely brilliant! The quality of the coat is fantastic although its not the original m-51 it looks exactly the same. The colour, sizing and style are all spot on from what i can tell. I havent got a real m-51 to compare it to (unfortunatly) but from all the pictures and videos of the original ive seen, this looks identical, only under close inspection can you see the difference. Even these differences are actually improvements in my eyes. Buy one and see for yourself!

These are a lovely trouser. The solitary photo doesn't do justice to the check, which is subtle but really nice. They are also a bit darker than they look in that pic. On the sizing - go with your measured waist, rather than the vanity sizing of the high street brands, and you should be fine. E.g. I'm a comfortable 32" in Levis, Lee, Uniqlo, Gap, etc, but the 34" in these JtG trews fits me perfectly (the tape measure had me at just over 34").

These are lovely shirts, I'd definitely recommend going up an inch in the collar as they're very fitted. The fit around the waist is what really makes these shirts in my opinion, completely eliminates the horrible billowing that can occur with shirts that aren't so fitted.

These are really nice boots, and are looking even better with a bit of wearing-in. I'm having to try really hard not to wear them EVERY day as they seem to look good with almost anything. They do come up quite big, I usually wear a 10 and the 9 is perfect for me. Highly recommended, as is Jump the Gun.

I have to disagree with Oliver.The zip closure makes this coat that extra bit special . With a double button closure it would look too similar to a pea coat or reefer jacket you can get in many high street shops. Nice but not the authentic late 60 `s style you get here. Sleeves are cut slim and need to be fuller to achieve the original M51 look,the button in lining could also be improved upon, with an off white fleece type similar to the wool original. with these improvements it would be ace. But having said that it is still a nice parka.

Absolutely crackin' I've had people come up to me and ask where I got them from. They did rub a bit at the beginning above the ball of my feet but after leaving them loose they soon stopped rubbing. I bought a size 8 as I'm size 8 but next time I would buy a 9. Only criticism I would have is that they could do with being lined as they are not too warm in the winter evn with thick socks-more of a summer boot. Otherwise first class and what you'd expect from JTG

These JTG Solovairs are so much nicer than the last 2 styles that Dr M made, and look sharper than the original Czech versions. Fit - Width: Toe box is fairly narrow. Fit - Length: Great. Although i don't have the privilege of owning this particular suit, i saw it in the shop window yesterday and fell in love! very fitted, looks so great. most shops who makes suits these days either make them too long, have the collar all wrong, not slim enough, or have parachute pants! of course there is a tailor, but it still never has that classic Jump The Gun look. if only the company was around during the 60s (along with me!), i would have been the face! il be round to get mine soon !

Living up in newcastle i find it hard to find this style and range in the high street and often have to use the internet cos it is my only means of getting what i want my original sta-prest were navy blue and just that bit to small but after returning changed to black very happy with them had alot of admiring comments made since wearing them big thanks to jonathan for his kind help excellent customer service :)

I couldn't be more pleased with my JTG Sta-prest trousers. They look amazing, with a sharp slim fit design. I don't agree with the last reviewer's comment of the about the material, I think it's thick enough for this kind of trousers. I have a couple sta prest trousers from different mod clothing stores, and they don't look half as good as these.

scooter smock.... what a great coat for on the scooter, it is heavy duty and cuts the wind out. the big pockets are great for putting my gloves in and the drawcord and Velcro cuff fasteners keep out any drafts. i would advice you to order the next size up from what you normally wear if you are wearing thick warm layers under this smock, I usually take size large, i ordered XL as i wear a fleece under it when I'm on the lambretta . .all in all a great scooter coat that is pretty authentic to the original scout smocks we had in the 1960-70s which are no longer made ! this coat will last for years and years and never go out of fashion . . and at 40 quid is a real bargain .

Another fantastic JTG item. The photo`s don't really do it justice. The colour looks much better in real life. A nice suede coloured brown with a black zip. Looks great with the zip all the way up or half way up with the collar out. All my JTG stuff gets admiring comments but this one gets more than most. Great fit, but beware if you've got a big bum and footballer thighs. You'll need to size up and wear a belt. Great sharp trouser, material a bit thin, but all in all great product for the price.

This m51 replica is awesome and very confortable and it looks like the original one, same colour, same shape and same details. The only downside is the liner, that is not warm enough, but you can always get an m65 original liner and attach it to your m51 parka. I am definitely very happy with this product.

Along with the Royal brogues these unbeatable quality and well priced shoes are the classic and timeless smart dress footware from the 1968 - 1974 era when we were evolving from Mods to Suedeheads and, we wouldn't be seen in much else on the club floor or around town ... DM's and Monkey boots were worn for kicking around. (Frank Wright loafers were OK but where are they now?) I'm passionate about Loake shoes and have just recently replaced my old stuff with three pairs from JTG (two Brighton loafers and Royals) and I'm awaiting my forth pair to come in ... the burgundy Royals. Yet again Jump the Gun have managed to come up trumps... This parka is by far the best fishtail parka around. After searching for one for such a long tme. I had my reservations- However on inspection this parka is better than the originals. Still keeping the original look, but bringing it up to date with a bit more of a fitted look. The storm cuffs are an excesslent addition, especailly when riding a scooter. Lucklily I managed to get my XXS on ebay, after it sold out at Jump the Gun. I just hope they get some more in for next year, as I would buy another without a doubt.

m51 parka. pleased with my m51 parka from jump the gun. it looks the part and fits good.tuck a bit of a chance by ordering mail order as i like to see things first for myself.compaired to an original it comes up quite well.the outer shell is the same colour and the cut is very good.the button in liner is not the same as the originals but is still quite good.also has storm cuffs to both sleeves which you cant see from the outside anyway.all in all a good copy of an original m51. price is a bit steep but think what you have to pay for an original.if your not too picky its a good copy.
